Die prunkvollsten Minarette

Mit diesem Blog wollen wir euch von Erlebnissen berichten, die man zuhause nicht machen kann. Aktuelle Geschehnisse in unserem Land erweitern das Potential dafür und bereichern so unsere Reise und diesen Blog.


Konkret: Es steht nun in userer Verfassung, Artikel 72 Absatz 3: "Der Bau von Minaretten ist verboten." Welche  architektonischen Entfaltungsmöglichkeiten die Schweiz sich damit verbaut, wollen wir euch während den folgenden Monaten vor Augen führen. In diesem Post zeigen wir euch die prunkvollsten Minarette entlang der Seidenstrasse: von Aleppo über Isfahan und Mashad bis nach Samarkand, wo Araber, Perser und Osmanen ihre Spuren hinterlassen haben.

Ich habe die Vorstellung, dass es weiter im Osten noch schönere gibt..

More precisely: It is now in our constitution, Article 72 Paragraph 3: "The construction of minarets is forbiddden." The kind of opportunities for architectural fulfillment Switzerland is missing out on shall be demonstrated to you during the months to come. In this post, we will show you the most magnificent minarets along the silk road: from Aleppo to Isfahan, Mashad and Samarkand, where the Arabs, the Persians and Ottomans have left their traces.

I imagine there are some nicer ones farther east than the one shown above (one among the four minarets ever built in Switzerland).
